E4D One-Visit Restorations
Here in Annapolis, our dental team is always searching for ways to make your care with us simpler, smoother, and more exceptional in quality. Custom restorations are a vital part of repairing damaged or missing teeth, but the lengthy creation period can be a burden on busy patients. Thankfully, Dr. Gary Goodman and Dr. Jeremy Goodman have completely transformed the process with the help of state-of-the-art E4D technology. This machine helps us to design, create, and place a beautiful, lifelike restoration over the course of a single appointment, allowing you to leave that same day with a dramatically improved smile and sense of self-confidence.
Contact Goodman Dental Care today to schedule your first appointment! Patients from Severna Park, Davidsonville, Crownsville, Arnold, Edgewater, and beyond are also welcome.
The E4D Process
Once our doctors have determined that a one-visit E4D restoration is the right choice for you, the procedure will begin with the preparation of the treated teeth. Instead of having to rely on messy impressions, we can capture digital ones in just a few minutes with the help of our advanced laser scanner, creating much more precise results overall.
Once we have the impressions, we can get to work on designing a custom crown, bridge, inlay, onlay, veneer, or other restoration, depending on your unique needs, with the help of the E4D computer. When this is complete, the information is transferred to the in-office milling unit and used to create the permanent restoration, which one of our doctors will securely place in your mouth, making any needed adjustments to ensure your satisfaction.
E4D one-visit restorations offer patients several valuable benefits when compared to the more traditional process, including:
-
When using E4D, we can be more conservative in our care, removing less healthy tooth structure overall.
-
Temporary restorations aren’t required, allowing patients to become accustomed to their permanent restoration right away.
-
The need for messy, uncomfortable impressions is virtually eliminated.
-
E4D technology allows Dr. Gary Goodman and Dr. Jeremy Goodman to create a more seamless and accurate restoration overall for your enjoyment.

Metal Free Crowns
For centuries, gold, silver, and other metals have been used to create dental crowns, but in recent years, dentists have shifted to more aesthetic materials like ceramic and porcelain. At Goodman Dental Care, we offer metal free crowns to restore the look, feel, and function of damaged smiles. A crown is a dental restoration that fits over the top of severely decayed or damaged teeth in order to restore smiles and preserve remaining natural dental structure. Metal free crowns offer a more natural looking restoration and are a great option for patients who have sensitivity to metals. Thanks to our state-of-the-art E4D system, we offer restorations with all-ceramic crowns in just one visit.
