During this day-long event, we provide families who live below the poverty line the opportunity to receive the dental care they need. Any dentist will tell you no one should have to go without basic preventive and restorative dentistry services because they can’t afford the cost of treatment. Since 1981, Dr. Gary Goodman has been a proud dental care provider in the Annapolis community, and he is happy to be joined by his son, Dr. Jeremy Goodman, to continue offering dental services that exceed patient expectations. What is Donated Dental Day?
Donated Dental Day is our opportunity to give back to the Annapolis community. In addition to our skilled dentists, dental hygienists, assistants, and staff, we are proud to partner with technicians from our lab as well as sponsors who provide materials and funding for this event. The whole community truly comes together to help make sure everyone has a reason to smile. More than 100 million people in US don’t receive the dental care they need because of cost. The Goodman Dental Care team doesn’t think any patient should have to go without necessary dental care. Unfortunately, poor oral health is proven to impact so much more than your smile. Oral health concerns are linked to systemic illnesses, pre-term and low weight births, and chronic pain. This day-long event is our small attempt at making a big impact on our community, and we can’t wait to help patients get the dental care they deserve.

The main purpose of Donated Dental Day is to offer preventive dentistry services. That includes dental checkups, teeth cleanings, and screening for common oral health concerns. If we find dental decay or damage, we’ll take the time to repair your smile right away. We use tooth-colored fillings to repair minor decay or damage in just a few moments. Thanks to donated time, talent, and materials, we can also create more advanced restorations for patients in just one day including dental crowns and fixed bridges.
